The 2019 Central Private baseball team came into this season with high expectations.  Coming off of a 2018 state runner-up finish, and with the majority of the team returning the players were poised to make another deep playoff run.  A challenging pre-district schedule with several powerhouse programs prepared the team for district 5-AAA competition.  The team went 8-1 in the district to win our first district championship since 2016 and placed 7 players on the first team all-district squad along with Junior Gabe Spedale being named district 5-AAA MVP.  The team earned a first-round playoff Bye and are currently working towards another appearance in the state championship series.
