Board Appoints Brother Martin as Head of School
The Central Private School Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of our Head of School, Brother Robert W. Martin, effective April 1, 2020. We are confident that with his leadership, Central Private will continue to grow as a school that provides a college preparatory experience while nurturing strong character and spiritual growth of our students. Serving as the Interim Head of School since November, Brother Martin has shown outstanding leadership with a passion for our children and their education. His desire to advance our school’s mission is evident, and the feedback that we have received from the faculty and staff has been overwhelmingly positive. Brother Martin provides a mixture of integrity and optimism that when partnered with his passion and love for Central Private gives us confidence that he is able to move our school forward into the future.
Brother Martin is a graduate of ULM in Monroe, Louisiana, holding both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree. He has served as the Pastor of Hope Central since 1991, and has taught high school classes for the past three years at Central Private. He and his wife Alison have three children. Their oldest son, Alec, graduated in 2016 after attending CP since the first grade. Their other two children currently attend CP (Noah- 11th grade and Myla- 10th grade).
Please join us in welcoming Brother Martin as our Head of School. We are excited and optimistic as we move forward under his leadership. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Central Private School. During this very challenging time of health and economic crisis, we hope that you and your family remain healthy and safe. May God bless and continue to protect our Central Private family.
