Your Legacy Begins HERE!

CP received an impressive donation from Raising Canes’ Lemonade Day. The Central Intermediate School raised $4,500 for our school; Todd Graves matched the donation and then rounded it to $10,000! Thank you to everyone who participated in this fundraising event.

On Thursday, March 16 Central Private officially reopened after being displaced from the August flooding. Our ribbon cutting ceremony was a great success.  Thank you to our distinguished guests, students, and faculty for attending.  Home Sweet Home!

On Wednesday, October 12, Central Private School’s principal, board of directors, and students accepted a check for $100,000 as a donation from the Dore Family Foundation from Lake Charles.  The school was referred to the Dore Family Foundation by Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser.  The Central Private family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dore Family Foundation and the Lieutenant Governor for helping us rebuild our school.  This money will be added to the CP Flood Relief Fund.

On Wednesday October 26th, CP was presented with a $5000.00 donation from the Humana Insurance Company.  We were referred to them by Mayor Junior Shelton. Humana toured Central after the flood with the mayor and wanted to make a donation to a nonprofit that was affected by the disaster. We were one of the suggestions he gave them.  Ms. Booty wrote a grant request for our libraries and we were selected for the donation. Thanks to Humana and Mayor Shelton for this donation.

We have established a fund called The CP Flood Relief Fund for anyone who wishes to donate. If you know of businesses or other individuals who would like to contribute, please have them send their contributions to Central Private School, 12801 Centerra Court, Central, Louisiana 70714, or you can drop it off at any Bank of Zachary location. Please mark the memo line of the check "CP Flood Relief" so that it is properly designated. Many people have asked what supplies are needed, but because that list changes quickly, the best way that people can help is to contribute to this fund.
