Parents' Club Update
CPPC's regular monthly meeting on April 19, 2016, was a very exciting one.  As required by CPPC By-laws, nominations for new club officers were accepted at our March 15, 2016 meeting.  These officers, and their respective positions, were voted on by members present at the CPPC April 19th meeting, with the new officers assuming their duties effective at the conclusion of the meeting.
The nominated individuals were a mixture of returning and new members and are as follows: Amy Varnado - President; Cyndi Pennington - 1st Vice President; Rita Pinion - 2nd Vice President; Christina Dean - Secretary; and Teresa Bernard - Treasurer.  A special thanks to Stacey Goynes (outgoing treasurer), for her many years of service with CPPC.  You will be missed!
With only a few more weeks left in the school year, CPPC has a few more items left on their club's calendar - one of which is the Teachers' Appreciation Crawfish Boil to be held on Thursday, May 5th.
Please come join us at our next monthly meeting on May 17, 2016 in Room #8 in the high school building.
Amy Varnado,
CPPC President
