The following awards were presented at the Spring Athletic Banquet on Monday, May 16:
Coaches Award: Jake Flaggert; Austin Pierce
MVPs: Rhett Seguin; Brennan West
District Runnersup (Doubles): Rhett Seguin & Brennan West; Jake Flagger & Austin Pierce
Rhett Sequin and Brennan West qualified for the South State Tennis Tournament and also the 5-AA District Runners-up.
Jake Flaggert and Austin Pierce also qualified for the South State Tournament and fell two points shy (3-6, 7-5, 5-7 tiebreaker) of becoming the first district champions in CPS history. They are also District Runners-up.
CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Gantz and the tennis team for a remarkable first-year!
The new tennis team celebrated its first ever victory over Silliman on April 12.
