Students in grades 9-12 follow a college-preparatory curriculum beginning with the Louisiana Core 4 Curriculum for all 9th and10th graders. Successful completion of the Core 4 curriculum is required for entrance into all Louisiana 4-year colleges and universities. At the end of the 10th grade, students must declare in written form with parent/guardian signature whether they will continue with Core 4 or go to Basic Core. (Students who complete the graduation requirements of Basic Core are eligible for admission to Louisiana 2-year colleges and technical schools.)
